Our Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix3 is suitable for long-term use of infant carriers and child seats.

Assembly

Nowadays more and more European cars have the ISOFIX system, so there is a good chance that your car has it too. Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix3 attaches easily to the ISOFIX brackets. Follow the steps in our User Guide to correctly install FamilyFix3 in your car.
Once installed, you can leave FamilyFix3 in your car. This makes getting in and out of the car very easy, as the Pebble Pro i-Size and Coral infant carriers can be attached to the base with a simple click and the Soft Carrycot Jade is also easily attached with a simple "slide". Visual indicators on the base inform you when your Maxi-Cosi car seat or carrycot is correctly fitted and you're ready to go.
The FamilyFix3 also fits our Pearl Pro 2 i-Size car seat so you can use it even if your child is no longer sitting in their first car seat or infant carrier.

The FamilyFix3 can be used with the Jade carrycot, Pebble Pro i-Size, Coral infant carrier or Pearl Pro 2 i-Size car seat.

As the manufacturer, we recommend using an ISOFIX base. The assembly is so easy that the probability of something going wrong is negligible. Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix3 allows Click & Go assembly for a correct and secure fit.
With the FamilyFix3 you can also mount the child seat backwards. To better protect your child's head and neck, experts recommend that a baby in the rearward facing position rides until it is 105 cm tall (approx. 4 years).
