The Ergobaby Omni has a hook and loop fastener in the hip area, which makes it easy to adjust the baby carrier individually to the size of the child. For the little ones very tight, for the older child further out - so that your baby always sits in the optimal M-position.

What does M-Position mean?

Your baby should sit in the baby carrier so that the legs are angled in the hollow of the knee (from the back it looks like an M). If the bridge is too long, the legs will be pointing to the sides instead of hanging down. If the bridge is too narrow, the thighs are already hanging down. The optimal M position is important to avoid hip damage.

From week 1 to 36 months. The cross-wearable shoulder strap can be individually adapted to your needs.
The Ergobaby Baby Carrier has extra wide shoulder straps and therefore fits perfectly. You do not feel like the straps will slip off the shoulders and therefore you are much more relaxed in the neck area. Even the very wide hip belt supports your own hip especially in the lumbar region, where many people have problems anyways. Inexpensive belly straps often only have a much narrower belt and are far from supporting, as opposed to the Ergobaby Omni and Adapt straps.
