A breathable mattress allows air to circulate and carbon dioxide exhaled by the baby to escape. In this way overheating is avoided. This is especially important when the little ones turn on their stomachs while sleeping and breathe into the mattress. Our mattress for the Stokke® Sleepi™ Bed is made from multiple layers of breathable 3D mesh with a core of bicomponent Sorona® stretch fibers for strength and maximum airflow, exceeding the highest safety standards. The core and cover are easy to remove for washing. The cover is machine washable at 60 degrees Celsius and the core can be rinsed clean.
